About Me

My photo
Sophia Englar
My husband, two boys and I live in a quaint Cape Cod outside of Baltimore MD. This is by far not the most beautiful place I have ever lived. But my babies are the most beautiful I have ever seen (you may beg to differ but I can't help it, I'm their mother!) and it is here I begin my journey of photography in earnest. When I was ten, My grandmother bought my first camera for me. I could not wait for my film to be ready for pick up at our local Rite Aid pharmacy! When I was a teenager something called a digital camera hit the Wal-Mart shelves. After saving my money I bought one. With its three megapixels and a live view screen it was most exiting. As the digital world evolved I upgraded my camera from time to time. Not until years later would I venture to set foot into the land of a DSLR. When I did, it was like stepping into a new world. I have so much to learn. Share this journey with me as I explore behind my lens.
